Vicky Shukuroglou

Vicky Shukuroglou is an artist and researcher who endeavours to deepen our understanding and care of our precious world and each other. She seeks to ignite joy and fulfilment through careful exploration of our environment and intimate connection with its complexity. Scientists, musicians, Indigenous communities and young people are among Vicky’s collaborators. Her supporters and partners have included UNESCO, Sanskriti Kendra, Instituto Sacatar, Australian National Botanic Gardens, Creative Victoria, other organisations, schools and universities. In consultation with diverse Indigenous communities, Vicky recently co-authored Loving Country: A Guide to Sacred Australia, and created the photographs.
