Effie Fox is a commercially astute HR professional who has a track record of contributing strongly to restructuring businesses and those operating in challenging markets. Effie has a wealth of knowledge from both the HR and commercial arenas. Effie held various financial and commercial management positions before changing her career into the HR Profession.
Effie has extensive experience in HR from her experience at Telstra, State Street, Carlson Wagon Lit Travel, Russell Investments, Canon, Samsung and Lifeline Australia. Effie’s achievements span across many HR initiatives including culture change, building high performing teams, recruitment, talent management, Diversity, remuneration and benefits, organisational development and strategic planning initiatives.
Effie’s experience has also included responsibilities in the Asia Pacific Region (Japan, New Zealand, China, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore) for the implementation of global HR strategies, talent and succession management practices, performance management, executive coaching, leadership development, change management, cultural change and developing top talent. Effie’s strong leadership, project management, organisational development, integrity & communication skills have been applied to her responsibilities in a range of business environments from growth to reconstruction.
Effie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and Economics and has a Diploma in Human Resource management.
