Bastian Fox Phelan a writer, PhD student, zinemaker, musician, and citizen scientist with a keen interest in the intertidal zone. They are a PhD student at University of Newcastle, working on an eco-memoir of Mulubinba Newcastle. Bastian’s debut memoir about female facial hair, PCOS and gender identity is forthcoming from Giramondo. Bastian has been making zines and organising zine fairs since 2005.
