Toni Powell
Storyteller, disruptor of content, documentary filmmaker and author of The Yellow Car - How I Stopped Driving Myself Crazy

Meet Toni Powell - a mother of five, grandmother of nine and happily married to her angel husband, Philip, for almost 39 years. When not wondering whose birthday she is supposed to be remembering Toni’s passion is telling entertaining and inspiring stories that equip others to be happier.

Toni’s quirky little book The Yellow Car - How I stopped driving myself crazy is a life-changing illustrated book that is being widely used to help people deal with stress and anxiety. Toni has spent years researching the subjects of happiness and gratitude and has personally met, spoken to and often interviewed world leaders in this field such as Brene Brown, Shawn Achor, Br David Steindl-Rast, Mattieu Ricard and Gretchen Rubin.

Currently Toni is working on a series of tongue-in-cheek books, writing the occasional blog and presenting her popular workplace workshops on topics such as How to Enjoy Life and How to Have Happier Relationships. She's recently created a beautiful online workshop called The Great Full Life Class.

Toni's other achievements include: making a couple of award winning films, founding a successful international film festival, giving up wheat and being able to touch her nose with her tongue. In 2006 Toni was the subject of an inspiring and heartwarming ABC Australian Story episode.
