Educator and Academic Advisor, Knox Institute of Positive Psychology

Working in education for the last 15 years, Matt Cavallaro is now the Academic Advisor to the Knox Institute in Positive Psychology. In this role, he specialises in creating effective and engaging solutions that implement Positive Psychology in an education setting. Included in this work is training staff and speaking at conferences about the unique demands large-scale implementation in a school. Matt has been an early adopter in Knox's journey in Positive Psychology. With his unique education background that includes an undergraduate degree in Psychology, two Masters degrees in Education and his work at the coalface as an educator, he has an excellent ability to communicate clearly to staff about Positive Psychology and to create initiatives that address the delicate balance required to be true to the science while being pragmatic regarding to the demands of staff who implement these initiatives.
